Kipinä is a leading international early childhood education brand that adapts Finland’s National Core Curriculum for Early Childhood Education and Care to meet the needs of different countries.
We have established early childhood education institutions in numerous countries around the world, developed high-quality academic programs, lesson plans, educational resources, and teaching materials, and trained hundreds of teachers to implement a curriculum framework based on the Finnish education model in their daily teaching and learning practices.

Our journey began with what we know best—the Finnish approach to education, widely recognized as one of the most respected education systems in the world. Building on the curriculum framework published by Finnish government authorities, we developed, refined, and tested six comprehensive curricula for different age groups (0–6 years), along with more than 200 weekly lesson plans.
To continuously monitor and support children’s development, we incorporated a purposeful teaching methodology and key 21st-century skills—including communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity—integrating these elements with more than 250 developmental skill indicators.
Today, Kipinä operates early childhood education institutions in 15 countries, and its academic program is available in seven languages.
